Muscle testing by a practitioner of East-West medicine (that is, one who combines the ancient wisdom of Oriental medicine with conventional Western doctoring) can be a useful way to ask your body whether a particular product will suit your body's needs.
A natural health practitioner can also explain the concept of the healing crisis—which is when your body resurfaces (and is ready to release) old dis-ease or imbalance. You can sometimes feel worse before you feel better when clearing out old patterns of imbalance. Don't forget to seek expert advice and support!

Instead of giving that rude driver the finger or yelling cuss words—or repressing your feelings, which tends to sap your energy and contribute to depression—use these fun pillows to release your rage the way it was meant to be expressed: as sound (i.e. without words).
When you feel angry, the most direct and harmless way to release it is to yell, roar or scream into a pillow. You can't hurt anyone and you'll instantly feel the relief of not having to carry that repressed anger.
Free up your energy for creativity and other constructive pursuits—rather than giving that aggressive driver the satisfaction of triggering you to honk wildly, turn the air blue, or perhaps take action that will only add to the general aggression.
After using your pillow for a while, you'll begin to find humor in situations that previously got your goat. You'll even find yourself thanking the driver who cut you off. Instead of cursing, you'll find yourself saying things like: “I haven't had a good use for my rage pillow for a whole week—thanks!”
JK waits for the right frame of mind to make each small batch and puts her healing intentions into each individual pillow. She takes many special measures, such as hanging the pre-washed fabric out to dry in the fresh air and sunshine so it can gather negative ions, rather than allowing the dryer to infuse it with positive ions. (Positive ions can be draining for our health—it's the negative ions, eg. during thunder storms, that we need more of.)

Product Details: Actual size of pillow is 6” x 6”. Chile Pepper Pillow is priced higher due to higher cost of fabric. All other pillows are 100% cotton made with undyed muslin. Stencil designs are done by hand one at a time.
Design Choices: Choice of three initial designs—chile peppers, heart, frog. Each design has its own variations (such as different colors for the chile fabric and different poses for the frog), so your pillow may not look exactly as shown below. Each pillow is a hand-made original, not churned out like a factory product.
Future Design Choices: We're considering introducing the Celtic knot, the four-leaf clover, a musical note, a spiral, the yin-yang symbol, and a hand with a spiral embedded in the palm (symbolizes healing magic). “Restoring Balance” Aura Cleansing Spray
Hand-made by JK Minou, this healing spray is a powerful, revitalizing and restorative flower essence combination. Restoring Balance can shield us from destructive forces in our daily lives (noise, toxicity, radiation or disharmony) and can bring about calmness in stress situations.
The spray can also cleanse your aura, help to balance your chakras and enhance the vitality of the etheric body (part of our spirit), as well as bring the qualities of playfulness and laughter into one's work and daily reponsibilities.
Spray Restoring Balance on distressed pets or household plants. If you do body work or therapy of any kind, it can be very nurturing to spray your aura and your office between clients. You can cleanse a room with the spray, or even the entire house.

Milli's Aura Photos

The aura photo of Milli on the left was taken on June 17, 2005. The one on the right was done on August 19, 2005. The murky colors in the “before” photo indicate aura blockages (which can correlate to poor health, blocked creativity and lowered sense of well-being).
The abundance of clear orange in the second photo marks an upsurge of creative freedom. The shot of red in the lower portion of the photo relates to increased physical vitality. The green patch on the right is about emotional healing and prosperity. (See more about the meaning of aura colors.)
“In June,” Milli said, “I was suffering badly from sensory defensiveness and had low, low energy. My creativity could only express itself under a barrage of physical problems. By the time the August photo was taken, I had more energy and was much happier. A few weeks later I began to work intensively on creating this Website, often working 14 hours a day, six days a week. Throughout the many weeks it took me to build the site, I had boundless energy and my creativity flowed like the Amazon river.”

More About Auras
An “aura” is an energy field. Everything has an aura, even inanimate objects. Some people have the ability to see the colors of our auras.
Below is an aura interpretation chart by JK Minou, adapted from the class notes for her Energy Awareness Course.
General Meanings of Colors
When interpreting colors in their aura, it's important to take the person's history and experience into account. Listed here are the general meanings when the color is bright and clear. When the color is darker or muddy-looking, it indicates a more negative aspect. All colors can appear anywhere in the aura at any time. It's forever changing.
RED Strong energy, fire, primal energy, vitality, passion, anger, love, unexpected change, new birth, transmutation . . . nervousness, hate, aggression, impulsiveness, over-excitement.
ORANGE Warmth, creativity, emotions, courage, joy, socialness, sun, thoughtfulness, self-control . . . agitation, pride, worry, vanity.
YELLOW Optimism, mental activity, sunshine, lightness, wisdom, intellect, spiritual development (pale to white), health, well-being, happy, friendly, helpful . . . timid, indecisive, weak in will, easily led.
GREEN Sensitive, compassionate, growth, sympathy, calm, reliable, dependable, open-minded, healing ability (when mixed with blue), abundance, strength, friendliness . . . uncertainty, miserliness, jealousy, passiveness, self-doubt, mistrust.
BLUE Spirit, contemplation, prayer, heaven, active imagination, good intuition, quest of the Divine, devotion, honesty, good judgment, dark blue—have found their work and are immersed in it . . . blocked perception, worry, fearful, overly sensitive.
INDIGO AND VIOLET Seekers of all types, warmth, transmutation, independence, intuition, practical, humility, spirituality, passion, strength of will.
PINK Compassion, love, purity, joy, comfort.
GOLD Dynamic spiritual energy, coming into one's own power.
WHITE Truth, purity, all colors in balance. Soul in perfect balance so all vibrations would blend, appearing white.
GRAY Initiation . . . physical imbalances, secretive.
BROWN Earth, new growth . . . lack of energy, imbalance.
BLACK Protection, magic . . . secrets, burdens, serious imbalance.
Many other things can be found in the aura—unwanted energies from others, stuck memories and hurts, silver twinkles, blue specks. Trust what you feel and sense and use the interpretations in a way that feels right for you.

Interpretation of Photos 1 & 2
These photos were taken by Tracy Darling, the same aura photographer who took Milli's photos in the previous section. The images have been offered for use by a friend of Milli's, in order to demonstrate how our auras can look very different—not only day by day, but from one person to the next. The woman in the photos is highly devoted to her spiritual path.
Note: The shiny spot near the heart chakra in both photos was created by a necklace. The black around the edges is not part of the person's aura.
The first photo was taken on April 17, 2005. The predominance of pink shows a person who is filled with universal love. The lilac over the heart chakra (not easily seen here) indicates easy communication with her guides—sometimes known as “guardian spirits.” The dark blue around the swirl of pink relates to cosmic consciousness.
The second photo was taken on June 22, 2005. The abundance of turquoise represents emotional empowerment. The red along the right side indicates vitality (a touch of orange not easily seen here heralds an upcoming creative project). The blue over the throat chakra shows a person who is speaking her truth. The amazing patch of white over her heart chakra demonstrates purity of heart and connection with Spirit. The color of the heart chakra reflects our heart's desire.
